Finding the greens to be fast and hitting the ball past the hole all day can also make for a long day on the greens. If you find the greens very fast, try a few adjustments: Hold the handle of the putter more softly than normal. Address the ball more on the toe of the putter. Hitting the ball on the toe creates a quieter contact.
